Sing Along with Mitch


Mitchell William Miller or Mitch Miller gave people a good feeling and a chance to sing along with popular songs. In the early 60s he had a TV show “Sing Along With Mitch”.

    Oh how I loved this show with the dancing ball and his enthusiastic renditions of popular music of the day. Those were times when families watched the television together and sang along to the tunes. Thanks for the memories.

    You welcome Peg. I remember this even went to cartoons. I'd be watching a cartoon and suddenly at the end there was the announcer saying let's sing along. Then there would come a nice song and a bouncing ball to help you sing a long. That was the first time I was acquainted with so many enjoyable songs.
