Puttin’ on the Ritz with Fred Astaire
A handsome and popular American dancer, choreographer,
singer, musician and actor, who was admired for his dancing style, Fred Astaire
was born on May 10, 1899.
His amazing career spanned 76 years during which time he appeared in 31 musical
films.
If you would have asked Astaire himself he would have said
that he couldn’t sing but critics disagreed. He is known to have introduced
some of the most popular songs from his time. All of them are still listened to
today especially while watching Astaire sing and dance.
