Roasting Chestnuts with Bing

Bing Crosby sang one of the all time most popular Christmas songs in a style which is traditionally associated with him. The song is “White Christmas”.

Altogether Crosby recorded more than 70 Christmas songs. The traditional Christmas carols he sang included “Silent Night”, “The First Noel” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”.

“Silent Night”

Popular and well-known Christmas songs sung in traditional Crosby style –

“Jingle Bells”

“Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”

Two Christmas songs I particularly like which Crosby recorded are

“The Christmas Song” and

“Christmas in Killarney”

The title to this post of course comes from “The Christmas Song” so stir up the fire in the fireplace, pour some egg nog and let Bing Crosby put you in the Christmas mood.
