The Golden Voice of Judy

She came into this world as Frances Ethel Gumm but became known to her many fans as Judy Garland. She was an American actress, singer and vaudevillian. She had an incredible voice and when you watched her perform in musicals you were ready to sing and dance along. Of course she will always be remembered for her role of Dorothy in the “Wizard of Oz”. Some of her recordings have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

“Over the Rainbow”

“Zing Went the Strings of My Heart”

“When You’re Smiling”

Finally I had to include this recording of Judy Garland singing the “Battle Hymn of the Republic”
