The Hits Just Kept Coming

Yes, for this very talented American pop/rock singer, pianist and composer the hits just kept coming. I’m referring to Neil Sedaka and if you are not sure of who he is I am sure you have heard his fantastic songs. His career began in 1957 and over the years he sold millions of records and wrote or co-wrote more than 500 songs for himself and other singers. He still records and performs today.

The first song that got him on the Billboard charts was “The Diary”

His next hit was “Oh, Carol”

 

Then came a string of hits in the 60s among them

“You Mean Everything to Me”

“Breaking Up Is Hard to Do”

 

He made a comeback in the 70s with

“Laughter in the Rain”

 

“Amarillo”
